PROVIDENT Real Estate Associates was founded in 2002, by Co-founders, Jeremy Dantzler and Adriana Rodriguez. Shortly after, PROVIDENT Asset Management was formed in 2007. These organizations were founded under very simple business principles...Provide quality real estate services for our clients and ALWAYS put our clients’ needs first!

Jeremy Dantzler, COS

Jeremy Dantzler is the President and Associate Broker of PROVIDENT.  Jeremy has worked in the real estate industry since 1998 and has a proven track record of success in residential and commercial sales and asset management.  Before founding PROVIDENT, Jeremy held positions with Equity Residential Properties (R.E.I.T., Chicago, Illinois) and McKinley Inc. (Ann Arbor, Michigan).  Jeremy is a licensed Michigan Real Estate Broker and Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS).  He has served as a member of the Property Management Association of Michigan (PMAM), The Washtenaw Area Apartment Association (WAAA), and is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Managment (IREM).  Jeremy specializes in multi-family property management, distressed real estate workouts, and project management.

Adriana Rodriguez, CPA, MSA

Adriana Rodriguez is the Vice President of Finance and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for PROVIDENT.  After completing her Master’s Degree in the Science of Accounting from Eastern Michigan University, Adriana spent several years working for two regional and local CPA firms.  During this time, she earned her professional licensure as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).  Adriana’s personal interest in real estate led to a position as a Senior Tax Analyst with a national property management company, where she was able to expand her knowledge of real estate taxing.  She is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA) and is fluent in Spanish.  Adriana’s areas of expertise are Spanish translation & negotiation, small business/ non-profit auditing & consulting, tax & entity management, variance analysis, monthly reporting, and financial statement preparation.  Adriana implements and oversees all accounting and financial reporting for PROVIDENT. 

Derek J. Weaver

Derek J. Weaver is the Vice President of Operations & Development for PROVIDENT.  Derek has worked in the real estate industry since 2005 and began his career as a REALTOR® for Prudential Great Lakes Realty where he was awarded "Top Salesperson in Units" in April, 2006.  At the age of 19, he bought 2 single-family foreclosed homes in Detroit.  He successfully managed and coordinated the rehabilitation, lease, and sale of these two properties.  Derek’s interest in property management led him to work for Real Estate Service Solutions Company (RESSCO, Southfield, MI) and McKinley Inc. (Ann Arbor, MI).  Derek holds a Michigan Real Estate license and is a member of the Detroit Athletic Club (DAC).  He attended Wayne State University for Finance and is a WSU Varsity Swimming Alumni.  Derek joined PROVIDENT in 2010 as a Regional Vice President and was promoted to Vice President of Operations & Development/Partner in 2011.  He specializes in business development, acquisitions, work-outs, and value added/distressed property turn-around.
